Experienced, Dedicated Professionals in the Brownsburg Community
Dr. Alexandra Murphy
Dr. Alexandra Murphy is a lifelong Indianapolis-area resident, and classmate of Dr. Troyer (our former dentist). She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. After her undergraduate education, she interned at a dental practice in Indianapolis, Indiana for a year. She later attended Indiana University School of Dentistry where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. She is passionate about helping her patients optimize their dental health. Her favorite dental quote is, "only floss the teeth you want to keep." She looks forward to continuing the tradition of high quality dentistry and patient care started by Dr. Nancy Bolt and carried on with Dr. Troyer.
Dr. Murphy and her husband currently reside in Indianapolis where they plan to make roots long term as her husband finishes a medical residency. Outside of the office, she loves to exercise. You can find her weight lifting at her local gym. Additionally, she enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, Cameron, and taking their Goldendoodle, Lionel, on long walks.
Dr. Richard Low
Dr. Richard Low grew up in the Indianapolis area and graduated from Lawrence North High School. He attended Brigham Young University where he majored in Nutritional Science and served a two-year Spanish speaking mission in Los Angeles. After graduation he was selected for the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship and attended Midwestern University in Arizona where he received his Doctor Medicinae Dentariae (D.M.D), also known as Doctor of Dental Medicine.
After commissioning as a Captain in the U.S. Army in 2015, his first assignment was at Fort Hood, TX where he pursued an additional two-year, Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, granting a Masters in Oral Biology. It was there that he pursued his love for comprehensive dentistry including root canals, surgery, implant placement and esthetic dentistry. He then was sent to Fort Sill, Oklahoma and finally to Indianapolis as the Officer in Charge of the Indianapolis Medical Recruiting Station where he currently serves until, he fulfills his military obligation in June of 2021. He loves caring for soldiers and civilians and because he didn't take care of his teeth as a youth, he has needed a lot of dentistry. There's no judgement here, just understanding and a path to a healthy, happy smile.
Dr. Low is married to Kristine Low and has two adorable daughters. As a family they love spending time outdoors, camping, board games and serving at their local church.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Lindsey’s love of dentistry began when she was a small child, as visiting the dentist was one of her favorite things to do. This led her to study at Dental Assisting and Dental Careers Foundation, with extra training in expanded functions from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Lindsey started her career as an EFDA for an endodontist before coming to Bolt Family Dentistry, and with over five years of dental experience, we’re delighted to have her on our team. Lindsey takes care of assisting the doctor, ordering supplies for the office and taking notes for patients. Lindsey provides excellent patient care through all phases of treatment. Outside the office, she spends time with her husband and two daughters, enjoying all life has to offer.
Patient Care Coordinator
Attentive, creative, independent and conscientious, Emalee was delighted by the dentist from a young age. She knew a career in dentistry was right for her and received education at Kaplan College. Her knack for multitasking and problem solving led her to the front end, where she’s responsible for scheduling patients, answering questions, and filing insurance claims. Emalee enjoys the connection she’s able to make with each patient, and that her role at Bolt Family Dental allows her to build lasting relationships. To her, it’s the fact that everyone at the office genuinely loves their job that makes the care they provide unique, and the whole team is dedicated to making the office a happy place. Emalee partakes in arts and crafts, traveling, and attending a variety of concerts in her free time.
Licensed Dental Hygienist
Wendy’s career in dentistry began in June of 1990, and with over 27 years of experience, she’s been taking care of our patients for the last five. Wendy graduated from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN after knowing early on that she wanted a career in the healthcare field. The best part of her job is getting to know the patients, and that each hour brings forth a friendly new face. Wendy takes diagnostic x-rays, checks for gum disease, offers fluoride treatments, and keeps your smile sparkling and clean. Wendy’s level of experience blends perfectly with the office dynamics, as she brings tried and true methods of dentistry to the mix and loves learning new techniques from her coworkers. She’s a staple to her community, as she’s volunteered at various dental clinics, along with her church and other groups. At home, Wendy’s married to her high-school sweetheart, and loves spending her time with her husband, two daughters, the dog Gigi, and Oliver, their cat.
B.S., Licensed Dental Hygienist
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from Indiana University, Raquel shadowed her personal dental hygienist, and really felt a connection to the job. From there, she attended IU’s School of Dentistry and earned an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Raquel manages soft tissue therapy for our patients and helps provide oral hygiene education whenever necessary. She loves establishing friendships with different people in the community and enjoys motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health. In her almost two decades of experience, Raquel learned that Dr. Bolt’s loyalty, trust, and commitment to every patient she sees truly makes this office unique, and she’s proud to continue the legacy of quality dental care. If she wasn’t working at our office, she imagines she’d be running marathons and triathlons throughout the country. Along with her husband, she leads first and fourth-grade cub scouts and other community service projects. Raquel teaches dental health and loves career day at Whitelick Elementary School, and her passion for animals brought her a 10lbs. Cotton de Tulear named Kiska. Raquel and her husband, who is a paramedic, firefighter, and nurse, have two sons together.
Jeny didn’t choose to work in dentistry – Dentistry chose her! If you’ve visited our office, you’ve likely seen Jeny all over. All her experience is straight from on-the-job training, and she’s been working in dentistry for 25 wonderful years. Jeny takes pride in knowing that she helps patients take care of their smiles and improve their oral health.
